Girls Rock! Des Moines Announces P!nk Concert
A huge thank you goes out to Girls Rock! Des Moines for helping us announce that #Pink is coming to Des Moines on October 24th! #LiveFromDSM
In addition, P!NK and Wells Fargo Arena will be donating a portion of proceeds from the show to support Girls Rock! Des Moines, an organization dedicated to empowering cis-girls, women, non-binary, and trans youth and adults through self-expression, creative agency, and mentoring in music and arts-based education.
Iowa PBS Feature on Iowa Life
Since 2013, Girls Rock! Des Moines has been empowering cisgender girls and women, non-binary, and trans youth through self-expression, creative agency, and mentoring in music. The organization offers arts-based education with a focus on collaboration, performance and production. During the summer, they hold a camp that culminates in a live rock concert.
