Community Bands
Join our Community Bands to enhance your musical journey year-round⚡️
Open to youth aged 8-18 AND adults identifying as cis girls, gender non-conforming, or trans youth, regardless of skill level. Play in a band, learn an instrument, perform cover songs, and write original music. Instruments are provided, and no prior experience is needed.
Already have a band? Continue working with your group from GRDSM’s Summer Rock Camp or another project at CB.
Activities:
Weekly 90-minute rehearsals
Work with GRDSM Teaching Artists: Allegra Hernandez, Taylor Raibikis, and more!
Focus on an instrument and practice between sessions
Write original songs
Learn cover songs
Exclusive access to select instruments in our instrument library: Keytar, Synthesizer, Lap Steel, Banjo, Accordion, Theremini, Digital Drum Pad Machine, and more!
